• Switch on switches 1 & 2, wait a moment and switch off number 2.
• Enter the room. Whichever bulb is on is wired to switch 1, whichever is off and hot is wired to switch number 2, and the third is wired to switch 3.

How to measure 4 liters using only 5 and 3 liter bowl? Answer
1. Fill 3 liter bowl with water
2. Empty it into 5 liter Bowl
3. Again fill 3 liter bowl with water
4. Pour 2 liter (after that 5 liter bowl will be full) from 3 liter jug into 5 liter leaving 1 liter in 3 liter bowl.
5. Pour away the water of 5 liter bowl.
6. Empty 1 liter water from 3 liter bowl into 5 liter bowl.
7 Fill 3 liter bowl from tap and empty it into 5 liter bowl.
8. 5 liter bowl has 4 liters of water
